Tweaker speaks truth-

with manual gears you can use them to aid the braking giving shorter brake distances and also get the best gear for accelerating, aiding power away from a corner and also helping with the cars turning ability if it is rwd and your driving style is suited.

Black momo pedals- oh and i have found a tweak when fixing them to make the fix last longer if you get what i mean illepall

when applying tape to the pedal- apply a little too much so that when the pedals are back together the accelerator pedal has a bit too much friction.

Now untighten a couple of the screws at the back of the pedal base and the accelerator should move freely and last as long as it would if less tape was applied.

when the pedals eventually start spiking again- all you have to do is tighten the screws slightly on the base unit and hey presto problem solved (for the next month or so at least) now repeat until there is no travel left in the screws, where the obligatotory dismantling must take place again!!

hope this helps and sorry for the slight off topic post

Well its the most fun ive ever had with a 5/10 game or any other rated game for that matter so i guess i just have low standards...

The only thing that has come out of this review that im not happy with is the fact that new customers will be put off by that score, and i think thats rather cruel considering what has been achieved with this title.

Quote from AndroidXP :

OT: What kind of temperatures do you get on your GFX card? I'm currently very unhappy with mine as graphics intense programs (luckily not LFS) get it up to 90°C where slight artifacts already start to happen. It doesn't downclock itself and the temp limit at 127°C is just pathetic.

I tried already everything imaginable; now there's basically an own fan blowing directly at that thing with cool 21°C air (well, the fan is actually on the outside - I love constructing weird things ) but that barely keeps it under the artifact-limit. What's also funny is that as soon as the graphics drawing process is interrupted the temperature IMMEDIATELY drops about 10° and goes down back to 55 in no time, vice versa if it starts calculating again. Already tried downclocking manually but no change .

sounds like there is a problem with the fan on your gfx card. you should try re-fitting the heat sync fan with the aid of some conductive gel or getting a replacement fan (which should produce lower temps anyway) e.g. Arctic Cooling Rev.2 nVidia 6 (6600 Series) VGA Silencer

Hey the same thing happens to me when in game- and i have a similar rig to yours. (+ i have tried different drivers and it still happens)

the only thing that i have found that stops it is pitting before hitting shift+F4 and it doesnt seem to crash.

1 question- does the game crash your PC when you minimise the screen, or when you try to get back in? mine always happens on the latter (doesnt anymore because i pit 1st)

hope this helps a little.

Quote from jtr99 :Schneefee, I don't know if this is useful, but I got that same "Username already online" error message today. I had just been disconnected from a server due to some sort of random internet trouble, and then when I tried to reconnect to the same server I got the "Username is already online" message. I got the message again when I tried to connect to an alternative server. Then I killed LFS and restarted it, and bingo, no more problems. Are you sure this was really a hacking of your account and not some bug related to hanging connections to servers?

Yep same thing happened here but if there were miles driven then looks a bit wiffy
